
Complications & risks of Lasik - Haze
Haze is a potential side effect unique to the flapless
procedures PRK, Lasek and Epi-LASIK. Mild haze is common and
often, it will disappear within nine months and it will not
affect your vision. Severe haze is less common, it will occurs
in less than 1% of patients. However, severe haze will cause
blurred vision and some occurrences of corneal haze do not
disappear.

If the haze had effect for your vision, using or increasing the
frequency of steroid drops or irrigating underneath the LASIK
flap will usually cause the haze to resolve without affecting
your vision.
