Normal, the flaps heal is quite quickly and it can begin to the first two or three days after the Lasik eye surgery. Final, allowing the cornea to heal for two to four months is usually adequate. However, there are still LASIK flap that only 2% as strong as normal cornea. They may take longer to heal even flap never heals.

Laser created flaps of Femtosecond Laser Lasik eye surgery means a safer surgery as the results are more accurate, so fewer enhancements needed, and the eye is left stronger.

Of course, reduce rubbing or substantial contact with the eye as much as possible is absolutely necessary to help the flap heals.
